There use to be an empty land opposite my house where people dump refuse, so the owner began to build on it, I watched how they cleared the bushes and dug the foundation.
Each day the laborers came, they left the site with a change, I was an eyewitness from beginning to finish.
They laid the blocks up to lintel level another set of workers came and did the roofing, laid the zinc, and left.
Another set of workers did the plastering and flooring, another set did the plumbing work, then the electrician came and did the wiring.
As the day goes by the building was taking a new shape and a beautiful one at that.
Before it was finished, the outside view was a thing to behold, as I was still admiring the building, BEDMATE one of the biggest furniture company in Lagos state, drove in to furnish the house, then I made up my mind that I was going to take a look of what the inside would be.
After two days, I told the gateman that I wanted to take a look and he let me in, the once empty land where passerby's drop refuse had turned into a beautiful London, cool colors, beautiful interior designs, they had finish workings
Where am I going with this?
Do your marriage as a newlywed look like that empty and dirty land right now?
What do you want to do with it?
Will you allow it to be used as a refused dump?
No! It is a duty post so put a signpost on it.
Start your solid foundation, get to work, start communicating, start laying godly structures.
Build it with the design you both want, don't leave a marital life to autopilot, pilot your affairs
